V.I. History and Culture

This course will introduce students to the history and development of the U.S.Virgin Islands from pre-Columbus days to the present.  Special emphasis will be placed on understanding the cultural, social, political, and economic factors that influence and shape the Virgin Islands.

The course is an intensive post-secondary level course and serves to fulfill the employment requirements of the V.I. Department of Education. It is open to educators across the territory.

4-hour sessions (9 am - 1 pm)
