An introduction to the history and development of the Virgin Islands of the United States from pre-colonial times to the present. Special emphasis will be placed on understanding the cultural, social, political, and economic factors that influence and shape the Virgin Islands.
This course is an intensive post-secondary level course and serves to fulfill the employment requirements of the V.I. Department of Education. It is open to educators across the territory.
