EDA 's University Center Economic Development Program is a national organization that makes the resources of Universities available to the economic development community. 

     
Mission: The EDA supported University Center (UC) program is specifically designed to leverage the resources located in colleges and Universities to support regional economic development strategies in regions of chronic and acute economic distress.
     
UVI CELL EDA University center was launched in Spring of 2022 with 26 local businesses taking part in the program. Each participant has access to SCORE Business webinars, individual mentoring sessions and enrollment in the GCSEN Social Entrepreneur Course.
