Commercial Pesticide Applicator
An eight (8) hour instructor-led program offered once a year in each district.
The CORE Pesticide Safety Exam is the first exam that must be passed to become eligible for a VI applicator’s license. Once the CORE exam is passed, you are eligible to take a CATEGORY exam.
Fumigation Training
A 4-6 hour instructor-led course offered once a year in each district. The course will provide a basic introduction to the application of sulfuryl fluoride for fumigating structures in the control of dry wood termites.
The discussion will include:
- Proper measurements of a structure
- Materials used for the confinement of the fumigant
- Equipment necessary for use and introduction, aeration and final clearing process of treated structures
Pesticide Exposure for Healthcare Workers
A one-hour instructor-led course offered twice a year in each district.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Overview
Integrated pest management, or IPM, is a process you can use to solve pest problems while minimizing risks to people and the environment. IPM can be used to manage all kinds of pests anywhere–in urban, agricultural, and wildland or natural areas. This course is offered online.
